Old Mutual’s Governance, Risk & Compliance Graduate Programme is a strategic initiative to develop a sustainable pool of talented individuals who will contribute to the company’s goals in areas such as risk management, compliance, and internal audit. The program offers a mix of theoretical training and practical, on-the-job experience, enabling graduates to support Old Mutual in maintaining effective governance, managing risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of risk management strategies
• Assist in monitoring and reporting compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Participate in audits and assessments to ensure governance standards are upheld
• Collaborate with different teams to identify and mitigate risks across business units
• Contribute to the design and enforcement of compliance policies and procedures
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving risk and compliance practices

Qualifications

• Must be a South African citizen with a Matric Certificate (including Math/Math Literacy and 2 languages)
• A 3-year qualification (NQF6 equivalent) in Risk, Compliance, and/or Internal Audit with a minimum of 60% final average
• Preference is given to candidates from previously disadvantaged communities
• South African citizenship
• Medical certificate required for disabled candidates
• No more than 1 year of work experience
• Clear Credit and Criminal record
